B and I knew it was going to be a scorcher so decided to walk down to the nearest beach which was Sa Tuna, it was a 45 minute descent to the beach, sometimes a bit steeper than we had thought and on some occasions we had to brave the roads with the mental Spanish drivers, against all odds we made it though and we were so pleased as it was so gorgeous and such a nice day.

Sa Tuna
B was in the sea before you could say Bikini!

You'd think she might notice B drowning behind her. Put the phone down woman!
As gorgeous as Sa Tuna was it had lots and lots of stones which made it very painful to get in and out, I had left my beach shoes at the villa (doh!) so B and I had to perfect the falling over looking like you'd done it on purpose trick and then tummy sliding in to the sea. I found the best way out involved beaching oneself on the sand and reversing with your hands until you were far enough up to get out without the waves dragging you back in again!!

Our lunch view
After all that hard swimming we decided lunch was in order, without looking at a menu we plonked ourselves down at
Sa Tuna Hotel and Restaurant now don't get me wrong the food was absolutely delicious but rather pricey! We stuck to two starters, i had calamari and B had prawns, it was delish and only cost 50 euros - bargain!?
We later noticed that if we had walked just 2 minutes around the corner we could have got pizza for 5 euros! Never mind, for that day we were ladies wot lunched.
Later that evening we popped to Aiguablava to see Lynda's in laws. They have the most amazing house with the most amazing view and they plied B and Patrick with gin and tonic leaving me to drive home. Thanks for the hospitality David and Maggie.
