Day 1 Cont

 We had a quick dawdle around the town last night while finding somewhere to have dinner.  It's really pretty and has all the shops one would find in a first year Tricolore book!

Anywhere in the world and you'll find an Irish Bar and a red telephone box!

Prepare yourself for the first dinner picture of the blog!  We had dinner at the Grand Hotel which was very quaint if a little tired.  It had an amazing view across the valley. Patrick had steak and chips (so predictable) drowned in pepper sauce and i had an omelet with the local cheese Cantal, it was delish!  The cheese was mild and stringy and the omelet fluffy inside and crispy on the outside - yum! 

Patrick also had that bottle of wine to himself and spent the rest of the evening being very excitable and overly chatty.  Sigh.
