A vist to Hereford 28 April - 2 May 2011

My lovely Mum and a tiny piglet

Part of my 11 days off work involved a trip to Hereford to see my Mum.

We had a really nice time together and the weather was gorgeous.

On the Friday we watched the wedding together, we both thought Kate's dress was lovely.  I wouldn't fancy a life like that though so good luck to her.

After the wedding we went to meet my friend Tammy who was also randomly in Hereford (!), we had a lovely scones and tea by the river at the Castle House Hotel.

On the Saturday we went to the Small Breeds Farm and Owl Centre which is a really lovely place.  Somehow we spent four hours there.  They had the most gorgeous baby cow and miniature pony, so sweet and just sunbathing all day long. We were attacked by vicious sheep and naughty pygmy goats and harassed for food by the alpacas!

It was a really nice day.  I don't see my Mum very much but when I do we always have a fun time.

On the way home we came across a farm selling eggs and meat and popped in, the family's lovely daughters showed us around their farm and gave us a little tiny piglet to cuddle which we did!
